Picking up the pieces

Picking up the pieces

The calm after the storm
The tragedies, the hurt, the disappointment
Of families torn and separated
But life still has to go on
Picking up the pieces
A family separated by your woes
Wrecked by a personal vendatta to find happiness
Two decades of efforts go down the drain
A mockery of judiciary union
But marriage is suppose to be a lifelong affair
If I have know this is the ending
I will not even start it in the first place
But life still has to go on
And work to bring in the bread and the butter
I will pick up the pieces
And nurse my disappointment
Starting all over again
Searching for my other half
Step by step I will trode
Until I find my love once more
A Christian heart pure and true
My Life will be filled with happiness once more
In everlasting bliss
